How this service works
Short interest history for a Nasdaq-listed stock from Nasdaq.com (FINRA twice-monthly settlement data): settlement date, shares sold short, average daily share volume and days to cover, newest first (about one year of reports), plus the change versus the previous report. Only Nasdaq-listed symbols are supported by the source.
Output
Returns a JSON object containing the latest short interest report (shortInterest shares, daysToCover, avgDailyVolume, settlementDate), an array of historical reports up to the requested limit, the change in shares and percent versus the previous period, the data source URL, and a checkedAt timestamp.

Side effects
- Invalid or non-NASDAQ ticker symbol returns an error or empty result
- Ticker symbol not found on NASDAQ (e.g. NYSE-only stocks) may return no data
