How this service works
One-call market briefing for agents — BTC/ETH/SOL spot + 24h moves, major fiat crosses (USD/EUR, USD/GBP, USD/JPY, EUR/GBP), Base and Ethereum gas with USD transfer cost, and the crypto fear/greed index. Four sections fetched concurrently with graceful partial failure; any dead section is null with a finding, never a failed call. 60s cache; no API key.
Output
A JSON object with up to four sections: `crypto` (array of spot price, 24h change %, high, low, and source exchange per ticker), `fiat` (array of FX pair rates with date), `gas` (array per chain with gwei price and USD transfer cost), and `sentiment` (fear/greed value, classification, and yesterday's value). Also includes `sections_ok` count, `stale` boolean, `cache_age_seconds`, `generated_at` timestamp, and a `findings` array noting any sections that failed gracefully (returned as null rather than erroring).

Choose this endpoint when an agent needs a broad, concurrent multi-asset financial snapshot in a single call rather than querying separate crypto, FX, gas, and sentiment APIs individually. It is ideal for trading bots, portfolio dashboards, or daily briefing agents that need crypto prices + macro FX context + on-chain costs + sentiment in one shot. The graceful partial-failure design means it is safe to call even when some upstream sources are degraded. Prefer alternatives if you need deep historical data, order book depth, or assets beyond the supported tickers.
Side effects
- Individual data sections (crypto/fiat/gas/sentiment) may return null if their upstream source is unavailable — flagged in `findings`, call still succeeds
- Stale data: `stale: true` and elevated `cache_age_seconds` if upstream sources are slow or cached data is being served
- Invalid `vs` currency code returns an error or falls back to USD
- Exceeding 6 symbols in the `symbols` override may be silently truncated or rejected
- Payment failure (402) if x402 USDC payment is not properly handled by the client
