Side effects
- Unsupported currency symbol returns an error — ECB covers only ~30 fiat currencies
- Date range exceeding 1 year may be rejected or truncated
- Weekends and public holidays have no ECB fixing and are absent from the series
- Invalid date format (non-YYYY-MM-DD) causes a bad request error
- Omitting the required symbol parameter without relying on default example input returns an error
