List related episodes. Returns episodes from other shows that cover the same story or subject as this episode, best first: a live nearest-neighbour search over episode content, reranked on shared salient entities, shared topics and a shared
Output
A paginated list of related podcast episodes from other shows, ordered best-first by a combined relevance score. Each result includes episode metadata (title, show, publish date). When include=basis is passed, each result also includes: content similarity score, shared named entities with their names, shared topics, any shared news story, shared guests, and the number of days apart the two episodes were published.

Use this endpoint when you need cross-show podcast discovery — specifically to find what other podcasts covered the same story, topic, or guest as a known episode. It is preferable over a general keyword podcast search when you want semantically ranked, entity-aware results grounded in a specific episode's content. The published_within_days filter makes it particularly useful for 'who else covered this breaking story' use cases within a short news cycle window.
Side effects
- Episode ID not found — 404 if the slug or ID does not exist
- No related episodes found — empty results list if the episode has insufficient content signals
- Pagination cursor invalid — error if a stale or malformed cursor is passed
- Rate limiting or payment failure — 402 if the x402 payment is not provided or insufficient
- published_within_days too narrow — may return zero results if the time window excludes all candidates
