Prefer it over the SQLGuard prepaid-credits endpoint when you are running occasional one-off writes rather than high-volume operations. Use it when you need an Ed25519-signed certificate as an audit artifact before any destructive or mutating SQL is committed to production.
Side effects
- FAIL certificate issued if the SQL statement violates sandbox policy — the write must not proceed
- Payment not accepted or USDC transfer fails — certificate not issued
- Invalid or missing agent_id — certificate cannot be tied to a receipt
- Rate limiting or service unavailability — endpoint returns error with no cert
