Use this endpoint when you need fast, on-chain-verified large-trade data for a specific ERC-20 token on Base or Ethereum, sourced directly from DEX swap events rather than aggregated off-chain feeds. Prefer it for whale monitoring, pre-trade context, or smart-money flow detection where raw chain data is required. It covers Uniswap V2, V3, and Aerodrome pools with the most liquidity, making it reliable for major tokens. Not suitable for tokens trading exclusively on centralized exchanges or very illiquid tokens with no supported pools.
Side effects
- Invalid token address format (not 0x + 40 hex) — validation error returned
- Token has no supported pools (Uniswap V2/V3 or Aerodrome against WETH/USDC) — empty pools list returned
- window_minutes exceeds chain limit (>60 on Base, >240 on Ethereum) — error or clamped response
- min_usd below 100 — rejected by schema validation
- No trades found in the window above the threshold — empty trades array returned
- Network or RPC error reading on-chain events — upstream error response
- Payment not processed (x402 protocol) — 402 Payment Required
