Ideal for agents that need spot prices, OHLC snapshots, or percent-change data for NYSE, NASDAQ, or AMEX symbols. Choose the delayed tier ($0.003) for cost-sensitive tasks and the realtime tier ($0.01) when live pricing is required for trading decisions or time-sensitive alerts.
Side effects
- Unknown or invalid ticker symbol returns an error or empty response
- Symbol outside NYSE/NASDAQ/AMEX coverage (e.g. OTC or foreign exchange) may not be found
- Missing payment or insufficient USDC balance results in 402 Payment Required
- Requesting realtime tier without ?tier=realtime returns 15-min delayed data by default
- Network timeout during market hours may return stale or no data
