It is distinct from general web scraping because it produces a cryptographic attestation record rather than just extracted data, making it suitable for legal, compliance, and evidentiary use cases. No account or API key is required — payment is handled inline via x402 in USDC.
Side effects
- URL is not reachable or returns non-200 — attestation cannot be created
- URL uses http:// instead of https:// — schema requires absolute https:// URL
- Page requires authentication or blocks headless browsers — content may be incomplete or inaccessible
- Screenshot capture fails on JavaScript-heavy pages — falls back to text-only if screenshot flag is true
- Payment rejected or insufficient USDC balance — x402 payment fails before attestation is attempted
- Malformed URL input — validation error returned
