Output
A concise text summary of the provided input, up to the requested max_words (default 60, capped at 250). The response contains the condensed version of the input text without truncation artifacts — inputs over 8,000 characters are refused rather than silently cut.

Best for inputs under 8,000 characters where a word-bounded summary (up to 250 words) is sufficient. Not suited for very long documents or when you need structured extraction rather than a prose summary.
Side effects
- Input text exceeds 8,000 characters — endpoint returns an error rather than truncating
- max_words value above 250 is clamped silently to 250
- Empty or missing text field causes a request validation error
- Payment failure via x402 (insufficient USDC balance, wrong chain) results in 402 response before processing
- Malformed JSON body returns a 400-level error
