Use this endpoint when you need a ready-made batch of signal candidates for a watchlist or screener without building your own raw feed ingestion pipeline. Prefer this over the full intelligence bundle when you only need discovery candidates, not regime, VPIN, or forecast data. Ideal for agents populating dashboards or bots that need a periodic refresh of candidate tokens.

• Payment not processed — returns 402 if USDC payment is missing or insufficient
• Invalid filter parameters — returns 400 with validation errors if criteria are malformed
• No candidates found — returns empty candidate list if no tokens meet the specified criteria
• Rate limit exceeded — returns 429 if call volume exceeds plan limits
• Stale data warning — freshness field may indicate candidates are older than expected if market data pipeline lags
