Choose this endpoint when you need real-time discovery of brand-new DEX liquidity pools on Base or Ethereum, especially for token launch monitoring, sniper-bot inputs, or early-stage DeFi research. It uniquely combines on-chain factory event data with DEX Screener pricing in a single call. Prefer it over generic DEX search endpoints when you specifically care about recency (pools created in the last few minutes to hours) rather than searching established pairs by name or address.
Side effects
- Invalid network value returns an error (only 'base' or 'ethereum' accepted)
- minutes out of range (below 5 or above 360) may return validation error
- Very recent pools may lack liquidity/price/volume if DEX Screener hasn't indexed them yet (fields will be null)
- No pools found returns an empty shown array with created_pools: 0
- Service unavailable if upstream public nodes or DEX Screener API is down
