It is ideal for evaluating yield sustainability, detecting APY spikes vs stable returns, and building time-series charts. If you only need current yield snapshots across many pools (not historical depth), a DeFi yields discovery endpoint would be more appropriate.
Side effects
- Invalid or unknown pool_id returns an error or empty series
- days value outside 7–365 range rejected with validation error
- Pool has insufficient historical data for requested window, resulting in partial series
- DefiLlama source data unavailable causing upstream timeout or null values in series
