Use this endpoint when you need a lightweight, low-cost spot-check of a specific page's HTTP/HTTPS health and two of its same-origin links in a single atomic call — especially after deployments, migrations, or content changes. Prefer it over full-site crawlers when you only need to verify a handful of critical URLs and want fast results without crawling overhead. Not suitable for full-site audits, following redirect chains, or checking cross-origin links.
Side effects
- Non-same-origin link URLs rejected — both link_urls must share the same origin as the target URL
- Fewer or more than exactly two link_urls causes a validation error
- Target URL unreachable or timing out returns an error status without retries
- TLS certificate errors surfaced as part of the HTTPS check result
- Sandbox mode returns simulated data, not real network results — may not reflect live site state
