How this service works
Transfer project ownership to another EVM wallet (toAddress query parameter). Call this to hand control of a site to a new owner; that wallet must sign all future paid operations. Only the current owner wallet can pay.

Use this endpoint when you need to permanently transfer control of an x402-hosted project to a different EVM wallet. This is the correct endpoint when a project owner is selling, delegating, or handing off a deployed site and the new wallet must be the authorized payer for all future paid operations. Prefer this over any workaround such as re-deploying under a new wallet, since this preserves the project's history, operationId chain, and existing deployment state.
Side effects
- Invalid project UUID format returns 400 error
- Invalid or malformed EVM wallet address (toAddress) returns 400 error
- Caller is not the current project owner returns 403 forbidden
- Project ID not found returns 404 error
- Duplicate idempotency key with different parameters returns 409 conflict
- Payment not processed or USDC balance insufficient returns 402 payment required
