How this service works
Use when an agent must check a domain: does it resolve, who hosts its DNS and mail, is email authenticated, how old is it, when does it expire. Input: domain (e.g. example.com; URLs accepted). Output: JSON DNS records (A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, NS, TXT, CAA, SOA), mail provider, parsed SPF and DMARC, DNS provider, and RDAP registration (registrar, created, expires, age in days, status, DNSSEC). No contact data. Example: ?domain=google.com

Returns a JSON object containing: whether the domain resolves, all DNS record types (A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, NS, TXT, CAA, SOA), the identified mail provider, parsed SPF (policy, includes, mechanisms, multi-record flag) and DMARC (policy, alignment, reporting targets), DNS provider, and RDAP registration data (registrar, created/expires dates, age in days, status flags, DNSSEC). Also includes cache status, data sources, and any advisory notes. No WHOIS contact data is returned.

Choose this endpoint when you need a comprehensive, single-call snapshot of a domain's DNS health, mail configuration, and registration history — especially for lead vetting, email deliverability validation, phishing triage, or security research. It combines DNS resolution, mail provider identification, SPF/DMARC parsing, and RDAP registration in one request rather than requiring separate DNS, WHOIS, and email-auth queries. Prefer it over raw DNS resolvers when you also need registration age and parsed email authentication. Note: returns no personal contact data.
Side effects
- 400 if domain is internal, reserved, or invalid — not charged
- Domain resolves=false if the domain has no DNS records
- Missing registration data if RDAP is unavailable for the TLD
- SPF/DMARC fields may be null/absent=false if records are not configured
- Truncated or partial DNS results if the authoritative server is unreachable or rate-limits
