Use this endpoint when an AI agent needs to programmatically cancel a restaurant reservation previously booked via the Agentic Reservations service on Resy. Prefer this over manual cancellation flows when operating in an automated agent pipeline where the resy_token is available from a prior /api/reservations lookup.
Side effects
- Invalid or expired resy_token returns an error
- Reservation already cancelled returns an error or idempotent success
- Reservation window has passed and cancellation is not permitted
- Token not yet obtained — requires calling /api/reservations first
- Payment or authentication failure if credentials are invalid
