Use this endpoint when you need to update the display name of an existing AgentMail inbox — for example, to change how the sender appears in outgoing emails from an AI agent inbox. It is the only AgentMail endpoint for mutating inbox metadata.
Side effects
- Missing required display_name field returns 422 validation error
- Invalid pod_id or inbox_id returns 404 not found
- Missing or invalid Authorization Bearer token returns 401 unauthorized
- Malformed request body returns 400 bad request
