AgentShelf XPath Video Poster Extractor

Use this endpoint when you need to programmatically extract the poster attribute from an HTML video element on a public web page, and you either have the URL or raw HTML available. Prefer the free sandbox endpoint POST /v1/sandbox/xpath-video-poster first; use this paid endpoint when the sandbox is unavailable or rate-limited. This is ideal for media scraping, content auditing, or building video preview features without writing custom XPath parsing code.

• No video element found on the page — returns empty or null result
• Page is behind authentication or returns non-200 status — fetch fails
• Video element exists but has no poster attribute — returns empty
• URL is unreachable or times out — network error response
• HTML input exceeds 200,000 character limit — request rejected
• URL string too short (under 8 chars) or too long (over 2048 chars) — validation error
• SSRF-protected URLs (e.g. internal IPs, localhost) are blocked
