Choose this endpoint when you need worldwide weather forecasts (current + up to 7-day daily + 24h hourly) for arbitrary GPS coordinates without requiring an account or API key, paying only $0.002 USDC per call via x402. Ideal for AI agents that need on-demand weather data as part of a larger workflow, especially when avoiding subscription-based weather APIs. Best when you already have coordinates (lat/lon) rather than a place name.
Side effects
- Missing required lat/lon parameters returns a 400 error
- Latitude out of range (-90 to 90) or longitude out of range (-180 to 180) returns validation error
- days parameter outside 1-7 range returns validation error
- Payment not provided or insufficient USDC balance returns 402 Payment Required
- MET Norway upstream outage may cause delayed or stale data
- Extremely remote or polar coordinates may have reduced forecast accuracy
