Use this endpoint when you need real-time discovery of newly created liquidity pools on the Base L2 network, especially when you want to filter by quote asset type or minimum liquidity and receive quality scores and alert flags. Prefer it over generic block explorers when you need pre-scored, human-readable pool data with DEX venue names and age estimates rather than raw chain data.
Side effects
- Invalid or out-of-range 'blocks' parameter (max 43200) returns an error
- Invalid 'quote' enum value (must be any/weth/usdc) causes rejection
- 'limit' exceeding 40 returns an error or is clamped
- Payment failure via x402/USDC results in 402 response and no data
- No pools match filters — returns empty pools/alerts arrays with ok:true
- Temporary Base RPC unavailability causes timeout or 500 error
