Returns JSON with a research briefing on a topic in one call: up to 3 recent GDELT news articles, each read and summarized, with source and link, below the price of separate calls for 0.04 USDC per call. Use this endpoint when you need a synthesized research briefing with full article summaries on a topic — not just headlines. Prefer it over raw news search endpoints when you want the articles read and summarized in one call. Do not use for breaking news (too slow), paywalled articles, or fetching a single known article URL (use the webpage markdown endpoint instead).
Side effects
- No recent GDELT articles found for the topic within the time window
- Article URL is paywalled or inaccessible — appears in skipped list with reason
- Topic string too short or too long (violates minLength/maxLength)
- Hours value out of range (must be 1–72)
- Slow response due to live article fetching — p95 around 15 seconds
- Payment failure if USDC balance is insufficient
