Returns JSON with an email address check: syntax, domain and MX records, disposable, free and role account flags, SPF and DMARC, and a verdict on whether the domain can receive mail for 0.005 USDC per call. Side effects
- Malformed or missing email field returns a validation error
- Email shorter than 3 or longer than 254 characters is rejected by schema
- Domain has no MX records — verdict will be undeliverable
- DNS lookup timeout may result in inconclusive domain/MX data
- Disposable domain databases may lag behind newly created throwaway services
- No SMTP probe means a valid-looking domain with a broken mailbox will still return deliverable_domain
