How this service works
What CHANGED on the board since your last check — change detection for polling agents. Pass ?since=<hash from the FREE /api/board/state> for the deltas: names entering or leaving the READY pool, per-name trend, light, leadership and hold-band flips, and any regime or permission-ladder move per book (S&P 500, Nasdaq-100, macro). Poll the hash free, buy the diff only when it moves — an unchanged hash is answered free, never billed. Recomputes ~5 min in market hours. Research, not advice.
Output
A diff object containing only what changed since the provided state hash: names entering or leaving the READY pool, per-name trend flips, light flips, leadership flips, hold-band flips, and regime or permission-ladder moves per book (S&P 500, Nasdaq-100, macro). An unchanged hash is answered free with no billing; a changed hash costs $0.01 USDC and returns the full delta set.

Prefer this endpoint when you are polling the board repeatedly and want to avoid paying for redundant full-state reads. It is purpose-built for change-detection loops: check the free hash, only buy the diff when something moved. Use the full /api/board/state if you need the complete current state without a prior hash, or if you want to bootstrap your first snapshot.
Side effects
- Missing or invalid 'since' hash returns an error or full state fallback
- Stale hash older than retention window may not produce a valid diff
- Network timeout during the ~5-minute recompute window may yield a temporarily stale diff
- Payment failure (x402) results in a 402 response with no diff returned
