Per-symbol HOLD-STATE read — is the published trend state behind a name intact? GET /api/board/hold?sym=NVDA (up to 10, comma-separated, one price) returns each name's state, hold strength 0-100, readiness, maturity-late flag, overnight gap-risk grade and its book's regime, with the mechanical rules states flip on. BTC-USD/ETH-USD return the crypto book's IN|CASH daily-close state. Impersonal publication — never your entry or size. ~5-min refresh in market hours. Research, not advice.
Output
Returns per-symbol objects containing: current hold state label, hold strength (0–100), readiness indicator, maturity-late boolean flag, overnight gap-risk grade, and the book regime. BTC-USD and ETH-USD return the crypto book's IN or CASH daily-close state. Data refreshes approximately every 5 minutes during market hours.

Use this endpoint when you need to know whether a specific stock or crypto trend state is currently intact, how strong it is, and whether mechanical flip conditions are approaching — without rebuilding trend-following logic yourself. Prefer it over the Single-Name Score endpoint when your primary question is about hold durability, gap risk, or maturity rather than a composite score.
Side effects
- Invalid or unsupported symbol returns an error or empty result for that symbol
- More than 10 symbols in a single request may be rejected or truncated
- Stale data outside market hours — last published state may be hours old
- Payment failure (x402) blocks the response if USDC balance is insufficient
- Crypto symbols only return IN/CASH state, not the full equity hold-state fields
