Use this endpoint when you already have URLs or Exa document IDs and need the actual content of those pages, rather than searching for new URLs. It's ideal for hydrating search results, bulk content extraction, or when you need the body text of specific known pages billed transparently per-field.

- URL is behind a hard paywall or login wall — content may be empty or partial
- Invalid or expired Exa document ID — returns not found error
- Rate limit exceeded — HTTP 429 response
- Malformed URL input — validation error
- Insufficient USDC balance to cover per-call fee — payment failure via x402
