Side effects
- No results returned if the search phrase is too specific or not present in any indexed filing
- Missing or invalid 'q' parameter returns a validation error
- Form filter typo (e.g. '10k' instead of '10-K') may yield no results
- Limit outside 1–100 range may be rejected or clamped
- EDGAR full-text index only covers filings from 2001 onward; earlier filings will not appear
