How this service works
Get the most up-to-date market data for all traded stock symbols. Note: Snapshot data is cleared at 3:30am EST and gets populated as data is received from the exchanges. This can happen as early as 4am EST. Can't find what you're looking for? POST feedback to /feedback, no charge.
Output
Returns a market snapshot object for each requested ticker (or all traded US stock symbols if none specified), including current bid, ask, last trade price, today's open/high/low/close, volume, and percentage change. Data is sourced from US exchanges and refreshed continuously from approximately 4am EST after being cleared at 3:30am EST each trading day. OTC securities are excluded by default unless requested.

Choose this endpoint when you need a broad, up-to-date snapshot of current market prices across many or all US equities in a single call rather than querying individual tickers one at a time. It is ideal for portfolio monitoring, market scanners, and dashboards that need live price data across the full US stock universe. Prefer this over daily summary endpoints when intraday real-time data is needed, and over moving average endpoints when raw price/volume snapshot data is the goal.
Side effects
- Ticker symbols not found if passed in wrong case (case-sensitive input required)
- Snapshot data may be empty or stale before 4am EST when daily data has not yet populated
- OTC securities absent from response if include_otc not set to true
- Payment failure if USDC funds insufficient for the $0.01 per call fee
- Rate limits or API errors if too many simultaneous requests are made
