How this service works
Measures the state of one pair over the chosen horizon from the minute candles this hub records itself: annualized realized volatility from log returns, trend strength as path efficiency between -1 and +1, average true range, and the drawdown from the highest high in the window. regime is a classification with its rule fully disclosed, and reasoning lists the values that carried it as data, not as prose. vol_percentile_90d needs ninety days of own history; until that exists the field stays null

Choose this endpoint when you need a self-consistent, rule-transparent market regime classification backed by metrics (vol, trend, ATR, drawdown) all computed from the same internally recorded candle history. Prefer it over external data aggregators when you need reproducible, fully disclosed regime logic rather than a black-box signal, and when the pair is actively tracked by the HALOWERK collector across Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, OKX, or Bybit.
Side effects
- Pair not tracked by the collector returns an error — only watched pairs can be answered
- venue/symbol/horizon combination with insufficient history returns null for vol_percentile_90d
- Invalid symbol format (not BASE/QUOTE pattern) returns a validation error
- Unsupported exchange venue returns an enum validation error
- Fewer than 90 days of recorded history results in vol_percentile_90d being null rather than an error
