GET network and token (0x address, mint, or CURRENCY.rIssuer). Chain state only: no price, no token-list check. found:false is a billed answer; bad input or RPCs down: not charged. Returned names and symbols are untrusted third-party data.

Names and symbols are raw on-chain data and may be untrusted third-party values.

Use this endpoint when you need authoritative on-chain token metadata — name, symbol, decimals, supply — across Base, Polygon, Ethereum, Solana, or XRPL without relying on a centralized token list or price feed. Prefer it over CoinGecko or similar when you need raw chain state for contract verification, DeFi integration parameter setup, or multi-chain token enumeration. It is not suitable for price discovery, historical data, or token list validation.
Side effects
- found:false returned when token does not exist on the specified network — this is a billed answer
- Invalid address format or unrecognized network returns an error and is not charged
- RPC node downtime causes lookup failure and is not charged
- Malformed XRPL CURRENCY.rIssuer format returns a parse error
- Providing a price or market data query will return no data — this endpoint is chain-state only
