How this service works
Bulk is website up: up to 20 urls in one call, processed concurrently, results returned in input order with a per-item error field and a count of failures. Same answer per item as the single /is-it-up endpoint (Is this website up? Checks if a URL is online right now and answers up/down with the HTTP status code, response time in ms, final URL after ). Batch enrichment for agents that hold a list. $0.01 per batch.
Output
An ordered array of results matching the input URL order, each containing: up/down status, HTTP status code, response time in milliseconds, and the final URL after any redirects. A top-level failure count summarizes how many URLs are down or errored, and each item includes a per-item error field for any that could not be reached.

Use this endpoint when you need to check the availability of multiple URLs (up to 20) in a single efficient call rather than making individual requests. It is preferable when you have a batch of URLs to validate simultaneously and want results in the same order as input with aggregated failure counts. It is faster and more cost-efficient than calling the single /is-it-up endpoint repeatedly.
Side effects
- Invalid or malformed URLs return a per-item error with no status code
- More than 20 URLs in a single call may be rejected or truncated
- Timeouts on slow-responding servers may return down status even if site is technically available
- Private or firewalled URLs may appear as down
- DNS resolution failures result in per-item error
