How this service works
Japanese business card OCR and company verification / 名刺OCR・企業照合: extract Base64 or HTTPS front/back images and one-page PDF, HEIF, or TIFF files, then match the organization to Japan NTA corporate-number (法人番号) and qualified-invoice (インボイス/T番号) registries. Registry pre-check, not full KYB. / 表裏の名刺情報を抽出し、国税庁の法人番号・適格請求書（インボイス/T番号）情報と照合します。完全なKYBではありません。

Returns structured contact fields extracted from the business card (name, title, company, phone, email, address in both Japanese and romaji) plus registry enrichment data including the matched 13-digit corporate number (法人番号), qualified-invoice T-number, registered company name, and registered address from Japan's NTA, along with match confidence and any registry status flags.

Choose this endpoint when you have a Japanese business card image (front/back, PDF, HEIF, or TIFF) and need both OCR extraction of bilingual contact data AND immediate registry enrichment with Japan NTA corporate-number and qualified-invoice data in a single call. Prefer this over the plain OCR endpoint when company verification matters, and over the standalone company-lookup endpoint when you're starting from a card image rather than a known company name or corporate number.
Side effects
