Use this endpoint when you have an existing LongWatch watch that needs more delivery credits to continue generating alerts. This is not for creating new watches — only for funding an already-registered watch identified by its ID. Prefer this over re-registering a watch when you want to maintain continuity of alert history and cursor position.
Side effects
- Invalid or non-existent watch ID returns a 404 error
- Insufficient USDC payment causes payment failure and no credits are added
- Malformed watch ID path parameter returns a 400 bad request
- Network or payment processor timeout leaves credit state unchanged
- Paying exact required amount but on wrong network (e.g. wrong chain) causes payment rejection
