How this service works
You are ephemeral. longwatch remembers what you already saw. Create a watch, persist watch_id + key, poll later for only what you missed — pages, RSS, crypto prices, SEC filings. No API key, no account — pay per call in USDC.
Output
Returns a list of new alerts since the given cursor, each with a sequence number, alert kind (e.g. 'filing'), and form type (e.g. '8-K', 'Form 4'). Also returns the new cursor value to use on the next poll and the current watch status (e.g. 'active').

Use this endpoint when you have already created a standing watch via POST /watches and need to retrieve accumulated alerts between agent runs. This is the correct polling endpoint when you have a watch_id and key and want incremental updates since a known cursor — not for one-shot lookups (use the snapshot endpoint instead).
Side effects
- Invalid or expired watch_id returns 404 or empty alerts
- Missing or wrong watch key returns 401 unauthorized
- Since cursor higher than latest sequence returns empty alert list
- Watch has been cancelled or expired, status field reflects this
- Network or payment failure results in no response or 402 payment required
