Read an ENS name's address plus its text records (avatar, url, email, description, com.twitter, com.github and more) in one call, live from the resolver on Ethereum mainnet. Pass `keys` to fetch specific records, or omit it for a sensible default set. Only records that are set are returned. Live reads with automatic endpoint fallback.

Returns a JSON object containing the resolved Ethereum address for the ENS name and any text records that are set (e.g. avatar, description, url, email, com.twitter, com.github, org.telegram, com.discord). Only records with values are included in the response. Records are read live from the Ethereum mainnet ENS resolver with automatic endpoint fallback.

Use this endpoint when you need to resolve an ENS name to its Ethereum address AND retrieve associated text records (social handles, avatar, email, website) in a single call. It reads live from mainnet with automatic fallback, making it more reliable than a single-node RPC call. Prefer this over generic RPC calls when you want structured, pre-parsed ENS profile data rather than raw ABI-encoded resolver responses.
Side effects
- ENS name does not exist or is unregistered — empty or error response
- ENS name is expired — resolver may return no records
- No records set for the requested keys — empty records object returned
- Invalid ENS name format — validation error
