Output
A list of matched employer establishments (up to the specified limit) with their OSHA inspection records, violation details, and aggregated penalty amounts. Each establishment is matched by fuzzy name scoring against the DOL inspection files. If no inspections exist for the employer, returns an empty result with HTTP 200. Side effects
- Employer name not specific enough — generic trade words alone will not match; requires at least one non-generic word
- No OSHA records found — employer may genuinely have no inspection history; empty result is still a paid 200
- State code missing or invalid — state is required and must be a 2-character US state/territory code
- ZIP or city mismatch — if provided, ZIP and city act as hard filters and may exclude valid establishments
- Name score too high — raising min_score above 85 may miss fuzzy matches for common name variants
- Name score too low — dropping min_score below 80 may return false-positive establishments
