Choose this endpoint when you need to extract readable article text from multiple URLs in a single round-trip without running a browser or calling an AI model. It is especially suited for batch research tasks, newsletter digestion, or feed processing where you need clean markdown fast and want deterministic, reproducible results. Prefer it over single-URL endpoints when you have 2–10 URLs to process simultaneously, reducing latency and per-call overhead. The optional requestKey makes it safe to retry without double-charging, which is valuable in agent workflows with unreliable networks.
Side effects
- Private or internal IP addresses are refused outright (e.g. localhost, RFC-1918 ranges)
- Pages over 2 MB or taking more than 8 seconds to load are skipped and counted as failed
- Pages with no readable article content (e.g. blank pages, heavy JavaScript SPAs) may return empty or minimal markdown
- Non-public URLs (HTTP auth, firewalled) will fail to fetch
- Malformed URLs or non-http/https schemes are rejected
- If all URLs fail, no charge is made and ok count is 0
