Example use cases
Supplier import activity research
“I'm vetting a new supplier called 'Sunshine Textiles' — can you pull their ImportYeti record and tell me how many shipments they've done and when the last one was?”
Competitor supply chain analysis
“Can you search ImportYeti for 'Nike' and show me their total US import shipment count and most recent shipment date so I can get a sense of their import activity?”
Lead verification for importer outreach
“I have a list of potential clients — start with 'Global Parts Inc' and look them up on ImportYeti to confirm they're active importers and grab their address and profile link.”

Endpoint
GEThttps://api.companyrecords-api.workers.dev/api/b2b/importyeti?utm_source=zero.xyzWhen to prefer
Use this endpoint when you need to quickly look up a US importer's shipment history, verify whether a company actively imports goods, or gather supply chain intelligence by company name. It is ideal for B2B due diligence, supplier vetting, or competitive research workflows where ImportYeti's public search data is sufficient and individual bill-of-lading detail is not required.
Side effects
- Company not found in ImportYeti database returns empty results array
- Query string shorter than 2 or longer than 80 characters rejected as invalid
- ImportYeti upstream API unavailable causes request failure
- Ambiguous company names may return many loosely matched results requiring further filtering
- Very new or small importers may have incomplete shipment data
