Use this endpoint when you need to extend the registration period of an existing domain already owned by the authenticated wallet on StableDomains, for 1 to 10 years, paying via x402/MPP crypto payment. Prefer this over the registration endpoint (which is for new domains) or transfer endpoint (which moves the domain to another registrar).
Side effects
- Domain not owned by authenticated wallet — authorization error
- Invalid duration (outside 1–10 year range) — validation error
- Payment failure or insufficient funds via x402/MPP — payment error
- Domain not found or does not exist — not found error
- Domain already expired past grace period — renewal not possible error
