Prefer over a scraping API when you also need the search-ranking step to surface the best pages automatically.
Side effects
- No results found for the query — returns empty results list
- Domain allowlist matches no top results — falls back to reading all top results
- Page content is paywalled or JavaScript-heavy and cannot be extracted cleanly
- Query is too vague and returns low-quality or irrelevant results
- Network timeout if target pages are slow to respond
