Prefer this over traditional SEO rank-check tools when the goal is AI citation presence rather than Google organic position. It complements the sibling keyword-rank endpoint, which checks Google SERPs, not AI responses.
Side effects
- Business not mentioned because AI model returned a response with no web citations
- Domain found in response but business name not matched due to name variation
- Query too broad or too narrow resulting in irrelevant AI response
- AI model rate limits or web search temporarily unavailable
- Payment not settled via x402, request rejected
