Side effects
- Empty results if the query is too niche or no articles exist in the specified time window
- Rate limiting or upstream engine errors from Bing/DuckDuckGo/Yahoo causing partial or no results
- Invalid region locale code returns an error or falls back to default
- max_results exceeding 20 returns a validation error
- Backend engine name misspelled causes fallback or error
