402utils Email Validation is a paid API for AI agents from 402utils.com, paid per call via x402, $0.003/call, status unknown (last checked 2026-10-13).
Validates an email address for syntax (RFC 5322), domain/MX record existence via DoH, disposable domain detection, and role account detection — without SMTP probing.
Validate an email address before you accept a signup or send to it: RFC 5322 syntax, whether the domain resolves and its MX records, whether it is a disposable/throwaway domain (community blocklist), and whether it is a role account (info@, support@…). DNS is checked over DoH. No SMTP probing (intrusive and spammy), so a true 'domainExists' does not guarantee the mailbox exists.
Returns a JSON object with: the original email, a syntaxValid boolean, a domainExists boolean (based on MX/A records via DoH), an array of MX record strings, a disposable boolean indicating if the domain is on a community blocklist, a roleAccount boolean indicating if the local part is a role address, and a checkedAt ISO 8601 timestamp.
GEThttps://402utils.com/v1/email-check?utm_source=zero.xyzUse this endpoint when you need a lightweight, non-intrusive email check at signup or before sending — covering syntax, domain health, disposable detection, and role-account flagging in a single call without SMTP probing. Prefer it over SMTP-based validators when avoiding spam flags on mail servers is important, and over manual regex checks when you also need DNS and blocklist coverage.
