Returns a JSON object with: total_usd (aggregate USD liquidated), longs_usd and shorts_usd (split by side), dominant_side (which side is being hit harder), prints (number of liquidation events), top_symbols (array of top 5 liquidated USDT perp tickers), tape_age_sec (age of the most recent data in seconds), stale (boolean indicating if the feed is stale), window_min (rolling window in minutes, typically 60), venues and symbols (counts of exchanges and instruments tracked), and source identifier.

It is the fastest way to get a single-call macro liquidation pulse including long/short split and top symbols. Prefer sibling endpoints for cascade scanning, per-symbol squeeze scoring, or OI spike detection.
Side effects
- Stale feed: tape_age_sec may be high and stale=true if the recording pipeline has fallen behind, reducing data reliability
- Empty or zero totals if no significant liquidations occurred in the window
- Payment failure via x402 protocol if USDC balance is insufficient (endpoint costs $0.001 per call)
- Partial data if some exchanges or symbols are temporarily unavailable to the recording system
