Choose this endpoint when you need to bulk-export all form submissions in a portable, spreadsheet-compatible format (CSV). Prefer this over the JSON submissions endpoint when the consumer is a spreadsheet tool, data pipeline, or human analyst who wants to open responses in Excel or Google Sheets. Use the JSON endpoint (/v1/forms/{id}/submissions) instead when you need structured programmatic access to typed fields.
Side effects
- Form ID not found — 404 error if the form does not exist
- Expired form — submissions may have been auto-purged if the form expired more than 7 days ago
- No submissions yet — may return an empty CSV with only headers
- Unauthorized access — 401/403 if the caller lacks permission to access this form
- Rate limiting — 429 if too many requests are made in quick succession
