Prefer this over generic web search when the user explicitly wants Amazon product results, ASINs for downstream processing, or structured ecommerce data rather than editorial content.
Side effects
- Empty results array if no products match the keyword query
- Null fields for price or rating when Amazon does not display them for a listing
- Request failure if query string is empty or exceeds 700 characters
- Location or language code not supported returning unexpected results
- Rate limiting or upstream scraping blocks returning an error response
