Given a coin id or ticker and a window of days (1-365) returns aligned price, market-cap and total-volume points with ISO timestamps — finer-grained than OHLC candles. For charting, market-cap trend analysis, volume studies, backtesting and portfolio agents.
Output
Returns aligned time-series arrays of price (in the specified vs-currency), market cap, and total volume, each paired with ISO timestamps. Granularity is auto-selected by CoinGecko based on the requested day range (e.g., hourly for short windows, daily for longer ones).

Choose this endpoint when you need continuous time-series data (price, market cap, and volume aligned by timestamp) over a multi-day window, especially for charting, trend analysis, volume studies, or backtesting. Prefer this over OHLC candles when you need finer granularity or market-cap data alongside price. Use the sibling OHLC endpoint instead if you specifically need open/high/low/close candles for candlestick charts.
Side effects
- Invalid coin id or ticker returns an error or empty dataset
- Days value outside 1–365 range is rejected
- Unsupported vsCurrency may return an error
- Rate limiting or payment failure returns a 402 or 429 status
- Coin with low liquidity may have sparse or missing volume data points
