How this service works
List the projects of the paying wallet's account. Returns {items: [{id, name, slug, created_at}]}. Call this first: uploads, listings and search need a project_id. Costs $0.005 in USDC. No signup: a wallet's first payment creates its account and a default project; the same wallet later reaches the same files.
Output
Returns a JSON object with an `items` array where each element contains `id` (project identifier required for uploads and artifact listing), `name` (human-readable project name), `slug` (URL-safe project identifier), and `created_at` (ISO timestamp of project creation). The calling wallet's account is automatically created on first payment and a default project is provisioned.

Use this endpoint as the mandatory first call before any Artefaktum operation that requires a project_id — specifically before uploading artifacts, listing artifacts, or searching within a project. Since Artefaktum is wallet-based with no signup, this endpoint also bootstraps a new account on first call. Choose this over any cached project ID when you need to ensure the project list is current or when you don't yet know the user's project IDs.
Side effects
- Payment failure — wallet has insufficient USDC balance, returns 402 Payment Required
- Invalid or missing x402 payment header, returns 402
- No projects found — wallet is brand new and payment did not complete successfully
- Network timeout or service unavailability returns 5xx
- Malformed wallet signature or authentication failure returns 401/403
