A JSON object with an `as_of` UTC timestamp, a `source` label, a `not_found` array for unrecognized symbols, and a `prices` array where each entry contains: symbol, price_usd (order-book mid), mark_usd, oracle_usd, change_24h_pct, volume_24h_usd, open_interest_usd, funding_1h, funding_apr_pct, and a unit multiplier (1 or 1000 for k-markets).

Choose this endpoint when you need real-time perpetual market data from Hyperliquid specifically — including funding rates and open interest that spot-only APIs don't provide. It supports up to 20 coins per call with flexible ticker formats (BTC, BTC-USD, BTCUSDT, bitcoin), making it efficient for batch portfolio checks. Prefer it over generic crypto APIs when derivatives market metrics (funding APR, open interest) are required alongside price.
Side effects
- Unrecognized or misspelled ticker symbols returned in the `not_found` array with no price data
- More than 20 symbols in a single call may result in an error or truncated response
- Network or Hyperliquid data source outage may cause stale or unavailable prices
- Malformed `symbols` query parameter (e.g. wrong delimiter) returns an error
- Rate limiting if call volume exceeds plan limits
