Also returns a top-level observedAt timestamp.

Side effects
- LEI not found in GLEIF registry — returns null fields with UNKNOWN comparison
- LEI format does not match 20-character alphanumeric pattern — input schema validation error
- GLEIF API upstream unavailable — may return stale cached data or error
- Expected legal name too long (over 200 characters) — schema rejection
- Batch exceeds 3 entities — request rejected by schema validation
- Mismatched casing or punctuation in legal name may yield MISMATCH even if conceptually correct
- Payment not processed (x402) — endpoint returns 402 before data is returned
