How this service works
Fundable — Resolve a PERSON to Fundable's own person `id`, across both investors and non-investor people. Pass exactly ONE of `name`, `id`, `linkedin`, `crunchbase`, `twitter`. The id it returns is what fundable/person-deals takes, so this is the first call when you want every round an angel or a named partner has backed and you only have their name or profile URL.
Output
Returns the Fundable-internal person ID along with basic person metadata, which can then be passed to the fundable/person-deals endpoint to retrieve all investment rounds associated with that individual.

Use this endpoint as the first step whenever you have a person's name or social profile URL and need their Fundable person ID to query investment activity. It is the required predecessor to fundable/person-deals. Prefer this over general web search or LinkedIn scraping when you specifically need a Fundable-compatible identifier for investor deal lookups.
Side effects
- Ambiguous name with multiple matches returns low-confidence results or no match
- Invalid or non-existent LinkedIn/Crunchbase/Twitter identifier returns empty result
- Passing more than one identifier at once may cause an error or unexpected behavior
- Person exists but is not indexed in Fundable's database, returning no match
- Rate limiting or payment failure causes request rejection
